The year 2024 began for GreenFormation to extend its network with allies striving to use Earth’s resources fairly and sustainably.
We became part of the World Resource Forum Association, an international non-profit entity bridging organisation aiming to make resource use a force for human well-being within planetary boundaries through scaling up knowledge and practical solutions.
Besides, we got engaged in the work of the Forum for Caring Societies, which is a collaborative community of practice promoting fair, sustainable, care-centered societies.
The Forum aims to create a multidisciplinary, evidence-based movement for change through involving researchers, activists, practitioners, funders, and policymakers, sharing a common vision for care-centered societies.
Furthermore, GreenFormaiton has become part of the EU Sufficiency Coalition, which is yet an informal entity aiming to make sufficiency a priority in the EU agenda and integrate it into all European sectoral and budgetary policies entailing a strong social dimension, covering various resources: water, materials, land, and energy.
Last but not least, we got engaged in the work of EDITS: Energy Demand changes Induced by Technological and Social innovations, which is a network of experts with various disciplines regularly discussing and engaging in the multi-faceted energy demand research on transferring methodological knowledge and exploring modeling innovations.
