We are pleased to announce that Máté Fischer, a member of the GreenFormation Kft. team, will be speaking at the international webinar “Doughnut Economics for Cities and Regions: What Indicators for Maximum Impact?”, organised as part of Global Donut Days!
The event will bring together international experts to explore how cities and regions can use meaningful indicators to measure progress beyond conventional economic growth, while supporting social well-being and ecological sustainability.
Máté Fischer will contribute to the discussion by sharing insights on degrowth, a research field that challenges the pursuit of endless economic expansion and explores alternative pathways towards a socially just and ecologically sustainable future.
As a PhD researcher at Corvinus University of Budapest and a researcher involved in the Budapest Degrowth Doughnut initiative, Máté will bring a degrowth perspective to the conversation, highlighting the importance of rethinking how we define and measure progress.
At GreenFormation, we believe that exploring alternative economic perspectives and sustainability frameworks is essential for building a more resilient and equitable future. We are proud to see Máté contributing to this important international dialogue!
