On 6 February 2026, GreenFormation presented the Co-Bio project at the “Adaptation? Naturally!” UPSURGE final conference. The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and networking among international and directly EU-funded projects, featuring Hungarian case studies on nature-based solutions. GreenFormation contributed with a short Co-Bio introduction as part of the morning mini-presentations, and then joined the parallel urban biodiversity workshop, which offered an excellent opportunity to share experiences in more depth, exchange practical insights, and answer questions.
A key highlight of the day was the wide range of NbS-related initiatives currently underway in Hungary, covering topics from biodiversity and climate adaptation to water management and urban planning. The event also demonstrated that involving local communities and stakeholders is no longer an exception, but increasingly seen as an essential element of impactful and sustainable project implementation. It was also encouraging to hear that several Co-Bio actions and formats have already sparked ideas within new initiatives that are currently in their early planning phase.
